Bernie Valentine was the winner of two VIP passes to Benicassim music fest courtesy of DMs. As one of the most hyped arts and music events in Europe we couldn't wait to see what Bernie got up to as DM's roving reporter. The atmosphere in Benicassim was clearly blissed out, the palm tree vibe couldn't look more relaxing...

Here's some bro getting it all wrong and giving Hot Chip the devils horns, Rock and Roll?!??

 I couldn't really get over the fact that the festival was on concrete. No mud. Not mad dusty.

This was how much beer we ended up sneaking into the V.I.P. By the way, the festival had a Lidl outside it.

The Spanish festival set-times were just too punishing for this bro.

Here's the thing. You hang out here. All day. It's hot and awesome, you go and watch bands in the evening.

We enjoyed Public Image Ltd, Hot Chip, Four Tet, Gorillaz, JJ, The Specials, Cut Copy, Foals, Broken Bells, DJ Shadow and more. I was too tired to watch leftfield, which sucked.

Four Tet was amazing. How the hell was this dude overlooked for the Mercury Prize. 

Nightswimming. The best way to cool down.
